Calling all creatives! A new social art/drawing club is starting at Southcare and you are invited!

Every Monday between 9.30am – 11.30am (starting 28 October)
Southcare Connect Room
John Hardwick Centre
19 Pether Road, Manning
Free street parking and free to attend, just BYO materials and creativity!

Run by Southcare Star Michael, he says the club is most definitely “not a workshop, as that sounds too much like work!”

Whether you’re a beginner just starting out or an experienced artist seeking inspiration, we have the perfect space for you to create and connect too. This social group allows you to immerse yourself in a welcoming, light-filled environment where you can create your masterpieces alongside like-minded individuals.

All art styles, pencil sketches, pastels, charcoal, water colour and digital art, with one exception: oil painting.

We ask that you bring your own materials and favorite art supplies and we’ll take care of the little things that make a creative session enjoyable. Expect an endless supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep your energy levels up. Plus, our open tables provide plenty of space for you to spread out and work comfortably. Plus the conversation with other creatives is sure to inspire you too!

As Michael tells us: “Art is more than just a solitary pursuit; it’s also a chance to connect with others. Our group is not just about creating art but also about sharing ideas, learning new techniques, and forming friendships. The relaxed, social environment makes it easy to chat with fellow artists, exchange tips, and be inspired too.

This social club costs nothing to join (and offers you so much to gain!) and is part of Southcare’s community connect program.

We look forward to welcoming you! NO RSVP is needed, just come along and get creative!
